Seafood plant evacuated after leaking explosive found Six hospitalized, released following discovery by Terri Sanginiti and Jeff Montgomery Wilmington News Journal (DE) June 30, 2012Dover Air Force Base explosive ordnance disposal technicians were called to a Milford clam-processing plant Friday morning to handle a leaking military explosive discovered among the clams earmarked for processing, military officials said.
The plant, Sea Watch International, was evacuated by state police as a precaution and the area cordoned off, Sgt. Paul Shavack said.
...Dover Air Force Base spokesman Senior Airman Jacob Morgan said the munitions tested positive for the presence of a chemical agent, but exactly what type has yet to be confirmed.
