PAVE PAWS health study questioned

Cape Cod Times
October 25, 2005

WOODS HOLE - An epidemiological study that found "no convincing
evidence" PAVE PAWS radar causes adverse health effects was presented
yesterday to an independent panel that will review the finding.

A panel from the National Research Council will evaluate the $450,000
study completed last month by the International Epidemiological
Institute. The panel already produced its own report on PAVE PAWS,
released last January.

Yesterday, after the institute presented its findings in Woods Hole, a
Texas researcher who has long raised concerns about the radar's safety
questioned the researchers' conclusions.
