New Post has gone the extra mile (or two) to help military needs

AS A LOCAL, community-minded land developer, Tricord Inc. has built a
reputation of being a responsible and collaborative corporate citizen.
The proposed New Post project is evidence of Tricord's desire to do what
is best for the community at large. Through a 3-year process, involving
public input at every stage, New Post has evolved into Spotsylvania
County's very first truly planned, mixed-use, smart-growth initiative. 

This unique project has gained the support of smart-growth advocates,
preservationists, neighbors, planners, and land owners alike by offering
a different approach to development and innovative solutions to many of
Spotsylvania's most challenging problems--including an unprecedented $53
million in proffers to the county.
