GRAFENWÖHR, Germany - Health and environmental officials in Grafenwöhr
and Vilseck have discovered that some playground equipment on each base
was coated with lead-based paint, officials announced Wednesday.

Published in a bulletin by the 100th Area Support Group deputy
commander, Curtis Clark, in the local base paper Training Times, the
notice announced that 10 pieces of playground equipment had been found
to contain the paint - seven in Grafenwöhr and three in Vilseck - and
the affected equipment was in the process of being removed.
