Lead paint found on playground equipment at Grafenwöhr, Vilseck By Ben Murray Stars and Stripes European edition July 8, 2005 GRAFENWÖHR, Germany - Health and environmental officials in Grafenwöhr and Vilseck have discovered that some playground equipment on each base was coated with lead-based paint, officials announced Wednesday. Published in a bulletin by the 100th Area Support Group deputy commander, Curtis Clark, in the local base paper Training Times, the notice announced that 10 pieces of playground equipment had been found to contain the paint - seven in Grafenwöhr and three in Vilseck - and the affected equipment was in the process of being removed. ...
