[CPEO-MEF] Perchlorate Workshop

U.S. EPA is holding a Peer Review Workshop on "Perchlorate Environmental
Contamination: Toxicological Review and Risk Characterization," in
Sacramento, California on March 5-6. The meeting will take place at the
Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza.

To attend the workshop as an observer, or to obtain additional
information, contact EPA's contractor, Eastern Research Group, Inc. at
781-674-7374 or <meetings@erg.com>. There will be opportunities for
public comment at the meeting, but the deadline for written public
comments on the document is still February 19, 2002.

However, a check (January 28, 2002) of EPA's web site shows that the
document is not yet available for public review. See 
http://oaspub.epa.gov/eims/eimsapi.detail?deid=24002&partner=ORD-NCEA.
If that doesn't work, try http:www.epa.gov/ncea and look up Perchlorate
under publication topics.
