[CPEO-MEF] Senate Passes Defense Authorization Bill

Tuesday night the Senate passed S. 1438 their Defense Authorization Bill 
for Fiscal Year 2002.  The bill passed by a vote of 99-0.

The House and Senate bill will now go to conference committee where the two 
versions will be reconciled.  We will announce conferees and the schedule 
as soon as we have the information.
