We've just learned that on Monday night, October 1, Marianne Lamont Horinko was confirmed as Assistant Administrator of U.S. EPA for the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response. Acting Assistant Administrator Mike Shapiro returns to his position as Deputy Assistant Administrator.
