Malloy: Bridgeport needs 2nd train station by Keila Torres Ocasio Connecticut Post July 16, 2014 BRIDGEPORT -- City and state officials stood at the desolate Barnum Avenue lot next to the railroad tracks and envisioned what could come with a second train station there. Local businesses and Bridgeport Hospital employees could more easily access their places of employment. The owner of the remaining Remington Arms factory buildings across the street could see a worthy return for demolishing the existing buildings and remediating the property.
