Steel Ceilings project at halfway mark Port authority to regroup on
hiring demolition firm
by Leonard Hayhurst Coshocton Tribune (OH) July 22, 2014COSHOCTON — A two-year project to clean up a brownfield site for use by a company adjacent to the property is at the halfway mark but has hit a snag. The Coshocton Port Authority announced in June 2013 a property redevelopment and purchase agreement with RockTenn for the former Steel Ceilings site. The 15.8-acre property at 500 N. Fourth St. has been vacant since 2004. Port authority Director Dorothy Skowrunski said asbestos removal has been completed and chemical cleanup is close to being done too. Demolition is the next step. ...
