The Center for Community Builders (CCB), the Lincoln Institute of Land 
Policy (LILP), and the Annie E. Casey Foundation are sponsoring this 
national conference on how communities can employ land control and 
community building tools to ensure that: 

-- residents participate fully in land use decision making; 
-- public and private investments benefit current residents in terms 
of employment, affordable housing and ownership opportunities; and 
-- development planning is used to minimize displacement of residents.
