NorthPark approved for $9.2M in Mo. tax credits

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) approved up to 
$9,233,772 in Brownfield Redevelopment Program remediation tax credits 
for the 550-acre NorthPark development in north St. Louis County, Gov. 
Matt Blunt announced Monday.

The development is just east of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, 
is located in Berkeley, Kinloch and Ferguson. Most of the property has 
been vacant since the 1980's for airport noise abatement. The tax 
credits will help offset costs involved in the cleanup of asbestos and 
other contaminants.
