POGO had properly dared to question US EPA R5 in 1998, when EPA outrageously continued to use TT at Uniontown, despite all the so called "mistakes" prior concerning the crucial radiation testing conducted at this site... that DOE's top radiochemist, at Idaho National Lab, RESL, blew the lid off of upon learning what had occurred at this site in Ohio. No...Despite even this top DOE scientist's grave concerns at IEL, with the NRC telling CCLT Sill was considered by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency "one of the most brilliant nuclear scientists in the world"...US EPA IG et al, US EPA 's NAREL, Region 5 dismissed DOE's Sill's technical concerns...( Just like they'd done regarding their OWN US EPA Research & Development scientists) But of course, US EPA 's R & D reportedly has been gutted by now, and or, eliminated..

All the more reason, don't you think Keith, that the Uniontown IEL story that POGO fostered for many years, not be allowed to die, more importantly, along with potentially untold numbers of innocent people, Americans?,

Leading us to believe that not only was our community sacrificed back when the actual dumping took place ( illegally even then), but even more horrific, in the ensuing years, to this very day., the coverup that took place by US EPA...outrageously leading to even killing off of even the basic, institutional controls to stop further outward migration...All for what? In order to keep the levels down and "in compliance" as per the USEPA IG's bottom line conveyed to CCLT? !

Hey folks: DO you all think , fast forward to 2025, that this article perhaps, just maybe , albeit in part, helps to explain just why the "powers that be" decided it was peachy keen, / AOK to continue to allow innocent children to potentially get Leukemia, brain tumors, women to get breast cancers, men, kidney cancers...auto immune diseases...whatever.....
