Wright-Patterson Air Force Base gives update on 2 PFAS treatment sites by Jenilee Borek Dayton 24/7 Now (OH) June 5, 2025 GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) -- Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) is continuing to treat water contaminated with PFAS. The military base gave a tour of two of the treatment sites that were deemed the most contaminated on Thursday. The sites make sure both groundwater and surface water are below the Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) that are set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. "We want to get in the field.
