Erin Brockovich, Wurtsmith veteran talk military pollution on MSNBC by Garret Ellison MLive (MI) May 2, 2017 Wurtsmith Air Force Base veterans who say they've been poisoned by toxic chemicals in firefighting foam used extensively throughout the military were spotlighted on national news this week during a segment on MSNBC. On Monday, May 1, Greta Van Susteren's 6 p.m. show "For The Record" featured Wurtsmith veteran James Michael Bussey of Pennsylvania in a six-minute look at the problem of toxic fluorocarbon pollution at military bases across the U.S., including Wurtsmith in Oscoda, Mich.
