Protecting Navy’s work at Webster Field Southern Maryland Newspapers August 10, 2011Nearly 35 years ago St. Mary's County adopted special zoning rules around Patuxent River Naval Air Station. They have been altered in the years since, and because they limit what can be built under the flight paths of the Navy base they have at times been controversial.
