Badger tries to resolve contract dispute By Tim Damos Sauk Prairie Eagle (WI) March 24, 2010Badger Army Ammunition Plant officials are trying to resolve a contractual dispute with an environmental consulting firm hired to explain technical details of an Army report to a citizen advisory board.
Badger Installation Director Joan Kenney says a report the contractor provided to the board, which was later distributed publicly, was not a final document. And she has asked the scientist who developed the report, and others, not to distribute it.
"The contract is between the Army and the contractor," Kenney said. "On documents that are prepared under these types of contracts, the Army should have an opportunity to review it and make editorial changes, comments, etc. Unfortunately, we haven't had that opportunity."
