Depot reuse group quantifies its options
Panel looks ahead to when chemical incineration ends

What's the most likely, feasible development for the Umatilla Chemical Weapons Depot grounds after closure in 2011? 

According to an exercise completed by the depot Land Reuse Authority, the top five most likely candidates are:

*energy development;

*telecommunications business;

*transportation or distribution center;

*attracting government funding;

*and environmental restoration.

During the last two reuse authority meetings, LRA members ranked what they wanted on the depot grounds, what they thought could be successfully implemented and the factors that would contribute to making those things happen.
