Contaminated water found near Cheyenne KGWN CBS-5 News (Cheyenne, WY) March 12, 2009It is a rural area, secluded from most urban problems. But, one problem lingers underneath the ground.
For some Belvoir Ranch residents it's a problem that lingers in the drinking water and this problem, naked to the human eye, is now being flushed down the drain.
Trichloroethylene, or also known as TCE, was discovered near the Atlas Missile Silo in 2001 after the Environmental Protection Agency and the state of Wyoming began to investigate the area. It wasn't until February of this year that TCE was found in some area domestic wells.
