Subject: [CPEO-MEF] ECC wins Ft. McClellan contract
 
ECC Wins Contract to Remediate Former Fort McClellan 

BURLINGAME, Calif., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- ECC won a contract for
munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) remediation at the former Fort
McClellan in Anniston, AL. The contract was awarded by the
Anniston-Calhoun County Fort McClellan Development Joint Powers
Authority (JPA) and consultant Matrix Environmental Services, LLC (MES),
who are directing cleanup and development activity of the McClellan
Reuse Areas.

ECC, a construction, environmental remediation, and munitions response
firm headquartered in California's Bay Area, will manage the program
from its office in Huntsville, AL. The contract, competed under "full
and open" rules, includes MEC remediation in the Alpha and Bravo
munitions response areas (MRAs) to obtain regulatory closure and
facilitate the JPA's reuse of the property.
