Subject: [CPEO-MEF] ITRC Internet Trainings Schedule

Please forward as appropriate to members of the environmental community (regulators, federal agency representatives, responsible parties, consultants, stakeholders, etc.) with interest in the learning more about the appropriate evaluation/implementation of innovative environmental technologies and approaches. 

The Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council (ITRC) offers a wide variety of Internet-based training courses on innovative environmental technologies and approaches specific to the areas of site characterization, monitoring and remediation.  ITRC is a state-led coalition working together with industry and stakeholders to achieve regulatory acceptance of environmental technologies. ITRC is a program of the Environmental Research Institute of the States (ERIS), a nonprofit corporation operating in support of the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS).


Registration information for the ITRC's no cost courses is available at: www.itrcweb.org click on Internet-based Training .  Also, you can download the ITRC technical and regulatory guidance documents that are the basis for the training materials click on Guidance Documents .  Course registration opens 4-6 weeks prior to each course offering.  These ITRC courses are delivered via our partnership with USEPA OSRTI on their website at www.clu-in.org/studio/.  Contact Mary Yelken at myelken@earthlink.net or 402-325-9615 for additional information.
