Subject: [CPEO-MEF] Help To Set Environmental Tech Priorities

All,

The Interstate Technology Regulatory Cooperation (ITRC) work group is
holding its annual meeting November 5th-8th in Long Beach, California.
During this meeting ITRC will be re-affirming and setting its project
priorities for fiscal year 2002 through fiscal year 2007.

The ITRC is a state-led coalition that focuses on developing products and
trainings that help to overcome barriers to implementing environmental
remediation technologies. Participation in ITRC includes regulatory agencies
from 40states, citizen stakeholders, DOE, DOD, the military services, EPA,
private industry and others.

The object of this open prioritization process is do develop, to the best of our
ability, a list of projects that has, to the degree obtainable, a universal importance.
You are invited to participate in the prioritization process by attending the Fall
meeting in Long Beach.  If you are unable to attend the Long Beach forum ITRC
invites you to review the ITRC Five Year Program Plan (FYPP) and prioritize the
projects.  You can then send your input directly to me (Aimee Houghton
aimeeh@cpeo.org) and I will see that it is presented at the November meeting.
