TOTO claims victory after Oz delay

A group opposed to the Wonderful World of Oz Theme Park and Resort project
claims a delay by government officials in answering a lawsuit filed against
it in March is proof of wrongdoing on Oz's part.

Taxpayers Opposed to Oz (TOTO) filed a lawsuit in federal court, accusing
the federal General Services Administration of failing to study the effect
the theme park development would have on the environment and historical
trails located at the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant.

The GSA is currently negotiating a deal with Oz officials that would
ultimately transfer 9,065 acres to the entertainment company in exchange
for ridding the land of contaminants left during the production of
ammunition during World War II.
