Army Disbands the Fort Ord RAB

This letter fails to explain the SPECIFIC reason why the RAB was disbanded,
just that the Army and the BCT felt it necesary.  Is there an elaboration
available from either the Army or the citizen RAB members?

Is this the Presidio RAB?  I was under the impression that they were one of
the more effective RAB's in the country.  I got that impression by talking
with Doug Kern and felt they were very well organized and politically
effective also.  If this is the RAB that was disbanded, then more explanation
is absolutely necesary.
