Subject: | Low Level Airspace |
Does the FAA regulate military training routes below 500 ft. AGL over non-urban areas? Since it appears the Germans have, or are in the process of paying for low level training routes, down to 100 ft. AGL, does any federal organization regulate the sale, purchase, lease, exchange, trade, of military training routes over the US? And if no one does, should there be regulations of these? Local concern is for noise, the Tornado jets, generate up to 120 db of noise according to govt. documents. (50-55 db standard for urban airports, and over 80 db causes deafness.) Marianne | |
