Base closure could mean new beginnings for Athens Economic development foundation By Jennifer Moore Athens Banner-Herald June 14, 2005 Athens still has a "very slim chance" of keeping the Navy Supply Corps School - but if the Classic City does lose its base, officials must think big, the president of the Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Foundation said Monday.
