$13M plan to clean up Superfund site moves forward By Adina Genn Long Island Business News (NY) April 12, 2018 0 A $13 million plan to further clean up a contaminated groundwater Superfund site in Garden City is moving forward, officials said. Once home to the Roosevelt Field airfield, the site now includes Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall, office buildings, parking areas and Hazelhurst Park, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
