OGDENSBURG - City officials are working with the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club to remediate contamination from a 5.8-acre plot of land the organization owns near the St. Lawrence River as part of the state’s Brownfield Cleanup Program.

The Kiwanis property, now vacant, is on the north side of Riverside Avenue near the former Augsbury oil tank farm and has seen wide-ranging use as an industrial and commercial site since the 1890s.
