Subject: [CPEO-BIF] Technical Assistance "office hours" at national Brownfields Conference, September 2-4, Chicago

Please don't forget to register for the Brownfields Conference being held September 2-4, 2015 in Chicago, IL. To register, please visit: www.brownfieldsconference.org

The conference will include a variety of sessions and educational opportunities for a range of stakeholders engaged in brownfields revitalization and community development activities.

Are you interested in gaining more information about how to write a successful brownfields assessment, cleanup, area-wide planning, or environmental workforce development and job training grant proposal? how to develop an environmental training program? To learn more about research underway to develop a brownfields benefit calculator? how to integrate equitable development principles, such as affordable housing, into your brownfields cleanup and reuse plan? Or, how to interpret Phase II environmental assessment findings at a brownfield site in your community?

During the conference, on September 3rd, a separate informal office hours session will be held that will bring all of EPA's Brownfields Training, Research, and Technical Assistance grantees, as well as all of the EPA's Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) communities grantees into one centralized room to provide an opportunity for conference attendees to informally receive direct technical assistance and to learn more about what services and technical assistance exist to assist them with navigating brownfields issues in their communities. This office hours session will be held in Salon A-5 from 12:30-3:00 pm. For more information about EPA's current technical assistance grantees referenced above, please visit: http:// www.epa.gov/brownfields/trta_k6/index.htm and http://www.epa.gov/ brownfields/tools/EPA_TAB_Bifold_Final-508_05-21-13.pdf” “Please don't forget to register for the Brownfields Conference being held September 2-4, 2015 in Chicago, IL.
