No further action needed at former brownfield site

Dolgeville, N.Y. - The state Department of Environmental Conservation is recommending no further action is needed to clean up the former Silvernail/Vaza property at 102-104 S. Main St. David Roecker, vice president of environmental services and chief operating officer of C.T. Male Associates, said Monday the alternative is the best a former brownfield property can have and that if the village-owned site is deemed ready to go after the public comment portion of the review, it will likely have no use restrictions placed on it when the record of decision is issued.
