Cazenovia developer could apply for state grant funding for $10 million complex By Alaina Potrikus Syracuse Post-Standard (NY) March 2, 2010The developers of a $10 million medical and senior housing facility in downtown Cazenovia may need to apply for state grant funding to help make the project financially feasible. Village leaders gave the proposed 73,000-square-foot complex on Riverside Drive conceptual approval last month after developers revised their plans to include more parking spaces and a look that mimics the community's historic business district. ...Green said the project might have been eligible for brownfield tax credits. Town officials spent years rehabilitating the property along Chittenango Creek is adjacent to the Cazenovia Public Library which was once home to the town's highway garage after discovering soils polluted by petroleum.
