Remediation begins at brownfield site in Dolgeville By Rob Juteau The Evening Times January 20, 2010Dolgeville, N.Y. - Remediation work at the brownfield site at 107 S. Main St. in the village of Dolgeville has begun. Crews from the Tonawanda-based Environmental Service Group and Clarence-based Buffalo Drilling Company are on scene and have started remove contaminates from the site. At Monday night's meeting of the village board of trustees, David Roecker, vice president of environmental services and chief operating officer of C.T. Male Associates, the firm overseeing the cleanup of brownfields in Dolgeville, provided information as to what will occur at the parcel that was once a gas station, service garage and petroleum storage and dispensing facility in the coming weeks. ...
