O’Fallon development granted tax credits By Joel Currier St. Louis Dispatch (MO) January 6, 2009Partners in the development of a new retirement community in O'Fallon, Mo. will receive nearly $816,000 in tax credits to cover the cost of cleaning up asbestos and lead-based paint on the site. Gov. Matt Blunt's office announced the tax credits Monday as part of the state's "Brownfield Redevelopment Program," which provides incentives for contaminated commercial or industrial zones that have been abandoned and marked for new development. ...
