The area's next golf course may be located atop a hill of old garbage.

That's one option being considered for the reuse of the Town of
Tonawanda landfill, located on the Town's northwest border between Two
Mile Creek and Military roads.

When officials finalize the Town's comprehensive plan later this year,
the 20-year blueprint for the municipality will include plans to convert
the Town-owned land into a space for recreational use.
