The potential for human exposures resulting from subsurface vapor 
intrusion to indoor air is a topic of significant concern and debate.
This  one-day symposium will provide attendees with an overview of the 
issues, along with a summary of the state of the science and practice 
in California. The workshop will also familiarize attendees with recent 
and emerging regulatory guidance, along with various tools and 
strategies that can be employed to evaluate site-specific exposures, 
where site-specific evaluations are warranted. The course will give an 
overview of predictive models, but will focus on the Johnson and 
Ettinger Model. 
                                  
Who should attend: The Symposium is intended for regulatory  agency
personnel, consultants, responsible parties, property owners  and
developers interested in the latest strategies for understanding and 
addressing this exposure pathway.
