[CPEO-BIF] Environmental Justice: Title VI Teleconference

A live teleconference on EPA's proposed guidances under Title VI of the
Civil Rights Act will be held on Friday, November 3, 2000.  These guidances
are of great importance to those seeking, granting or challenging
environmental permits.  Ann E. Goode, director of the EPA Office of Civil
Rights and one of the drafters of the guidances, will speak, as will Sara
D. Lile of the City of Detroit, Michael Steinberg of Morgan, Lewis &
Bockius, and Jerome Balter of the Public Interest Law Center.  Michael B.
Gerrard of Arnold & Porter willmoderate.  MCLE credit may be available.
